What are your fees?

In most cases, there is no direct fee for meeting with us. Compensation typically comes from the insurance and annuity carriers whose products you may choose to purchase, rather than a fee you pay directly. Because compensation can vary by product and situation, specific details are reviewed and explained during your conversation with us.

Who would benefit from meeting with you?

People who are approaching retirement, already retired or reevaluating their financial plan after a major life change often find it helpful to meet with us. This includes widows or widowers adjusting to new financial responsibilities, federal employees preparing for a transition in benefits, business owners planning for the future and veterans exploring their options. If you have questions about retirement income, taxes or protecting assets over the long term, a conversation may help clarify your next steps.

What services do you offer?

Our work covers areas such as annuities, investment guidance, retirement income planning and tax-efficient strategies. We also assist with asset preservation, IRA and 401(k) rollovers, IRA legacy planning, wealth management, life insurance, estate planning considerations and Medicare-related questions for retirees.

What should I bring to my first meeting?

It’s helpful to bring recent statements for any retirement accounts, investment accounts or insurance policies you currently hold. A general list of your income sources and any specific questions or concerns you’d like to discuss is also useful. Nothing needs to be perfectly organized — the first meeting is meant to help us understand your situation.

Who are your clients?

We work with individuals and families at different stages of retirement planning, including pre-retirees, retirees and widows or widowers navigating financial decisions on their own. We also work with federal employees, business owners and veterans who have unique benefits or planning considerations. Each situation is different, so we take time to understand your circumstances before discussing options.

Can you work with clients in other states?

We hold licenses that allow us to work with clients across most states. Because licensing can vary and occasionally changes, we recommend reaching out directly to confirm whether we’re currently able to work with you in your state.

What’s the first step?

Getting started begins with a conversation to learn about your situation and what you’re hoping to address. That first conversation is just a chance to see if we’re the right fit — no obligation or commitment required. You can reach out by email at planning@rsginvests.com or through our website at rsginvests.com to schedule an initial meeting.

Are you a fiduciary?

Yes, we act as a fiduciary, which means we are obligated to act in your best interest when providing advisory services. If you have questions about how this applies to a specific product or service, we're glad to walk through it during a conversation.
