A U.S. Navy Veteran, Alan Becker's family life is deeply intertwined with his passion for retirement planning and charitable programs.
With over 25 years in financial services, Alan is on a quest to help you plan your future with intention. Whether it’s pursuing your passions, spending time with family or giving back, Alan and his team are committed to ensuring your path to retirement is clear and purposeful.
Alan’s journey began with several jobs in his teens, instilling his trademark work ethic and drive. Nearly five years of service in the U.S. Navy and an associate degree further shaped his values of discipline, loyalty and service that guide his approach to financial advising today.
After entering the world of insurance in 1998, Alan quickly made his mark by building authentic, lasting relationships and “practicing what he preaches”. In 2016, Alan passed the Series 65 securities exam, still maintains multiple insurance licenses and always leads by example.
Alan’s “Purpose-Driven Planning” philosophy ensures that every client’s financial strategy is built around what matters most. Inspired by the legend of King Arthur’s Round Table, Alan believes in an open, collaborative process where every voice is valued, creating an environment of trust with his team and his clients. Every week, Alan serves as host of Retire Right TV and Retire Right Radio, where he shares his insights and experience with a wider audience.
Alan treasures life outside the office with his wife, Kristina, and their three sons: Dylan, Robert and Logan. Alan loves travel in his RV, boating adventures and family fun. He is known for his warmth, wit and deep commitment to making a positive impact — both for his clients and his community, especially fellow veterans.

With over 25 years of industry experience, Sam brings a wealth of knowledge and a true desire to help our clients realize their retirement goals. Sam joined the team in March 2017, and prior to RSG, he spent the majority of the late ’90s and early 2000s in the mutual fund arena before making the move to be a full-time Investment Adviser Representative. It’s this extensive experience that helps him look at our clients’ overall retirement picture and custom-tailor solutions and strategies to their unique situations. Additionally, through training, Sam has learned many important facets of the various federal benefit programs and helps families make the most of those benefits — both while working and in retirement.
In 2017, Sam passed the Series 65 securities exam to become an Investment Adviser Representative and has been a licensed insurance agent since 2005, holding life, health, and property and casualty insurance in both Missouri and Kansas. During time off, Sam enjoys travel, live music and staying at home working on various classic car projects.

Kristy began her career in the financial services industry in December of 2007, inspired by her experience as an Army wife during the height of the Iraq surge. Serving as a Family Readiness Group Leader, she supported military families through deployments, led fundraising efforts, and held financial literacy and reunification classes — all of which ignited her passion for helping others navigate life transitions through smart financial planning.
Over the years, Kristy has developed extensive knowledge of both the insurance and investment industries. She holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the American Institute of Business and has passed the Series 65, 63, 7 and 6 securities exams. She also maintains insurance licenses in multiple states.
With a special affinity for federal employees, Kristy is committed to helping them make the most of their benefits and build the retirement they deserve. When she’s not assisting clients, Kristy enjoys deep-sea fishing, boating on Smithville Lake with her friends and family from Iowa, cooking, gardening, and spending time with her two beloved cats, Pistol and Annie.

Jason brings over two decades of experience in the financial services industry to Retirement Solutions Group,Inc. and its client family. He passed the Series 7 and 63 securities exams in 2001, the Series 66 exam in 2010, and achieved the prestigious Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor® certification in 2020.
A proud U.S. Navy veteran, Jason served on active duty from 1990 to 1996, followed by six years in the Navy Reserve. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Nebraska in 2000.
Jason and his wife, Sara, have been happily married for over 21 years and are the proud parents of both a son and a daughter. Outside of work, he enjoys supporting his daughter’s competitive softball team and attending rock concerts with his family.
Jason’s dedication to helping clients plan for their future is matched only by his commitment to his family and community.

Tatiana is committed to educating and assisting individuals in understanding their insurance options and planning for their futures. She aims to eliminate the stress of searching for health care options, providing tailored solutions with honesty, integrity and clear communication. Her dedication to serving others has helped hundreds find better solutions based on their needs. Licensed in 17 states, Tatiana is passionate about the Medicare and Medicaid markets, finding great reward in helping seniors navigate Medicare complexities.
Living in Kansas City with her husband and two children, Tatiana values experiences over material possessions. Her daily life includes church, dance classes, community volunteering and spending time with her family.

Dylan Pollock

With more than six years of experience in financial services, Dylan brings both knowledge and a client-first mindset to Retirement Solutions Group. Dylan is committed to helping the clients at RSG understand their options and feel confident about their long-term plans. His approach centers on education and relationship-building, ensuring every client feels supported throughout their retirement journey.
Before joining RSG, Dylan built a strong background in investment operations, client service, and financial planning in roles supporting both brokerage and high-net-worth clients. Dylan holds his Series 6, 63, 7, and 65 licenses as well as insurance licenses in Kansas and Missouri.
Outside the office, Dylan enjoys staying active. A former college baseball player at William Jewell College, he now spends his free time playing softball, disc golf, pickleball, and golf. He also values time with family and friends.
Health & Medicare Professionals

Frank Schveninger
Frank became part of Retirement Solutions Group in 2013. As a licensed health and life insurance professional, he works with a variety of insurance companies and can share many options that may be beneficial to his clients. Frank has lived in the Kansas City Metro area since 1998. He currently resides in Raymore, Missouri, with his wife Linda and has two grown children living in the area as well. Outside of work, you may find Frank enjoying his time off by listening to live music throughout the metro area. Frank’s belief is, “I am not just adding clients to my business, I am adding friends.”

Wade Hobbs
After graduating from Pittsburg State University, Wade met Alan and helped start the health and Medicare division of RSG in 2008. After working in the Kansas City Metro area for a few years, he decided to move back home around Springfield, Missouri, and started his own office. As of 2025, Wade has been in the insurance industry for 17 years.
Wade is licensed in multiple states and is appointed with multiple major insurance carriers. With such an arsenal of resources available, he always strives to find the right plan for his clients. When he’s not in the office, Wade enjoys coaching softball, going to his youngest daughter’s gymnastic meets and a wide range of hunting activities. His motto has always been, “If I wouldn’t do it for my folks, I wouldn’t do it for anyone else.”

Robert Carver
Bringing a wealth of executive leadership experience gained from a career that spanned across various locations in North America, Robert became an integral part of RSG in March 2015. With a robust background in business, his primary focus lies in supporting Alan in the expansion of the firm. Robert’s multifaceted role encompasses coaching the team, business planning, overseeing human resources and fostering a resilient company culture for long-term sustainability. Armed with a bachelor’s degree in business management, Robert combines strategic vision with practical expertise.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Robert finds enjoyment in a wide array of sports and outdoor activities. A particular passion for horses further enriches his personal pursuits. Robert’s commitment to professional excellence and his diverse skill set contribute significantly to the growth and success of the organization.

Jeffrey K. Gasser, CPA
Jeff, a longtime Kansas City resident, joined RSG in July 2019 as the Chief Financial Officer. Jeff brings years of experience in accounting, tax, business planning and management to the internal functions of Retirement Solutions Group. Upon graduation from the University of Missouri-Columbia, he worked for Deloitte, a top international accounting firm. After Deloitte, he worked for several local accounting firms, including his own practice in Westport. He has been a corporate controller and CFO for several Kansas City businesses. Three years before joining RSG, he also ran his own logistics company in Kansas City.
Jeff resides in Overland Park with his wife of over 37 years, Valerie. Their son, Michael, works in social media and he lives in New York City with his wife, Leah, and son, Jonah. Their daughter, Rebecca, is a special education teacher in Chicago, who got married in the fall of 2024. Jeff enjoys sports, yoga, traveling and hanging out with friends.

Sarah Ingram
Sarah, an integral part of RSG since 2010, is entrusted with overseeing all internal accounting functions at the firm while actively contributing to client service work. Her educational background includes earning an MBA from Pittsburg State University, and she holds the esteemed Certified Tax Specialist™ certification from the Institute of Business & Finance.
Currently residing in Parkville, Missouri, Sarah’s professional prowess is complemented by her role as an avid Chiefs fan. In her personal life, she finds joy spending time with her daughter and two grandchildren. Beyond her professional commitments, Sarah’s passion for exploration takes her to various destinations worldwide, reflecting her diverse and dynamic approach to both her work and personal pursuits.

Diondra Calhoun
Diondra, a Kansas City, Kansas, native, is driven by a longstanding passion to enhance individuals’ financial well-being. She pursued her academic journey at Kansas State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in personal financial planning. Subsequently, Diondra furthered her education by obtaining an MBA from Park University, with a specialized focus in finance. With over a decade of experience in the retirement and financial technology industry, Diondra brings a wealth of knowledge to her role at RSG, where she actively engages with the RSG client family to help fulfill their retirement aspirations.
Outside of her professional commitments, Diondra cultivates interests in gardening and puzzles. Her dedication to personal growth extends to quality time spent with her husband and their two dogs, Peanut and Rosie. Diondra’s unique blend of academic achievements and industry expertise positions her as a valuable asset in the pursuit of financial goals for RSG clients.

Alexis Burrell
Alexis, a native of Kansas City, Missouri, is a proud graduate of William Chrisman. With a passion for the dynamic intersection of technology and retirement, she has dedicated a decade to supporting both clients and team members in this exciting field. Holding licenses in life and health insurance in both Kansas and Missouri, Alexis has also earned her Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional® designation.
With over 10 years of training and customer service expertise, Alexis is thrilled to bring her skill set to assist clients at RSG. Beyond her professional pursuits, she finds joy in spending quality time with her family, accompanied by her beloved dog, Oreo. Alexis also indulges in hobbies such as reading, cooking and exploring new destinations, making the most of her spare time.

Nicole Galarza
Nicole, born and raised in Cochabamba, Bolivia, ventured to the United States in 2020 to pursue her bachelor of science degree in business administration with a concentration in finance at Truman State University. Her journey culminated in her graduation with honors in 2024. Alongside her academic pursuits, Nicole is deeply committed to personal and professional growth, always seeking opportunities to learn and develop. During her leisure time, she finds joy in artistic endeavors such as painting and embroidery, as well as embarking on adventures to discover new places with friends. Her passion for both creativity and exploration complement her dedication to helping others achieve their financial goals. Nicole is excited to help people attain their retirement aspirations with RSG, leveraging her expertise and empathetic approach as a client service specialist.

Ben Barron
Ben is a proud native of Overland Park, Kansas, and a 2024 graduate of the University of Central Missouri, where he earned his degree in entrepreneurship and social enterprise. With a strong passion for helping others and a drive for innovation, Ben brings a thoughtful, service-oriented approach to his role as a client service specialist. Outside of work, Ben enjoys a variety of pursuits. When not watching or playing golf, he can be found exploring new travel destinations — and one of his dreams is taking a trip to Hawaii. He’s an avid Alabama Crimson Tide supporter and a lifelong fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals. Ben also cherishes quality time with his family, who often gather to play board games.

Justin Anderson
Justin, an Overland Park, Kansas native, earned his degree in personal financial planning from the University of Missouri. With a strong background in customer support and communication, he brings a calm, empathetic approach, and a drive to be the best at what he does. During his downtime, he enjoys video games, reading, and hanging out with friends and family, and his cat, Jasmine. Additionally, he loves to both play and watch sports, especially football and basketball. With a strong foundation in personal financial planning, Justin is excited to start on a new professional journey at RSG and looks forward to contributing to the team.

Tyler Woodsome
Tyler’s journey into the financial world began with a bold career shift in 2018, after nearly 15 years in the food and beverage industry. Driven by a passion for people and a knack for exceptional service, he brought his client-first mindset to financial planning — quickly gaining the skills and credentials to match. In 2021, Tyler passed the Series 6 and 63 securities exams, along with earning his life and health insurance licenses, and spent the following years as a personal banker. During that time, he built a process grounded in trust, adaptability and long-term client relationships — always striving to deliver personalized and dynamic service. Tyler is excited to bring these skills to RSG and assist clients in their journey to and through retirement!
Outside the office, Tyler is an explorer at heart. Whether it’s discovering a hidden trail or a new local eatery, he’s always chasing adventure with his son by his side. Together, they’re on a mission to experience new foods, towns, parks, mountains, lakes and everything in between.

Madison Shelden
Madison is a dedicated professional with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with an emphasis in marketing, from Pittsburg State University. Her enthusiasm for cultivating meaningful connections is evident in her commitment to building strong relationships to enhance the visibility of RSG. Driven by a passion forgiving back, Madison actively contributes to the RSG Cares program, embodying her dedication to making a positive impact.
Beyond her professional pursuits, she finds joy in spending quality time with her family, exploring new destinations through travel, cheering for the Chiefs at games, and discovering vintage treasures at thrift shops and flea markets. With a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a minor in social work, Shannon brings warmth, creativity and a wealth of expertise to her work at Retirement Solutions Group.
From owning a digital marketing company specializing in SEO and social media to founding a wellness business and a mural design studio, her diverse experiences shine through in her innovative marketing strategies and ability to foster genuine connections. Her time in human resources at a Fortune 100 company further deepens her insight into building meaningful relationships that enhance visibility and impact at Retirement Solutions Group. Jawaun Johnson
Jawaun, a native of Lawrence, Kansas, pursued his academic journey at Mid America Nazarene University in Olathe, Kansas, where he studied marketing and advertising, culminating in his graduation in 2022. Beyond his academic achievements, Jawaun displays a passion for continuous improvement, maximization of productivity and high quality standards. Being able to impact others in a positive way is something he holds dear. He takes pride in building meaningful relationships and being part of a team that empowers retirees to achieve their goals.

Annie Baldwin
Annie, a Raymore, Missouri, native, earned her degree in fashion business and marketing from the University of Central Missouri. With a strong background in customer service, administration and marketing, she thrives in dynamic environments, bringing an energetic, empathetic and detail-oriented approach to her work. Annie is dedicated to keeping operations running smoothly at RSG while ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for clients. Passionate about organization and client care, Annie takes pride in completing tasks efficiently and making a positive impact each day.

Ava Sixkiller
Ava brings a fresh perspective to RSG, joining the team after completing her freshman year at Ottawa University, where she studied marketing and cheered on the sidelines.
Starting in the financial services industry and working with family at just 15, Ava developed an early understanding of both client needs and the challenges advisors face. Her passion for marketing and communication shines through in the way she connects people with solutions that inspire trust and confidence. Whether she’s supporting clients or collaborating with her colleagues, Ava’s focus is on making every interaction clear, personal and impactful.
When she’s not at the office, Ava loves exploring new cities and countries — France holds a special place in her heart — attending live music events, shopping with friends and spoiling her Dachshund, Winston.

Mattie Johnson
Mattie graduated from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln with a Bachelor of Science in Children, Youth, and Family Studies and a minor in Sociology. Her naturally warm, outgoing personality allows her to connect with others with ease, and she approaches each interaction with kindness, empathy, and genuine respect. Growing up in a large family helped shape her strong interpersonal skills, deep appreciation for people, and ability to build meaningful relationships.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her bloodhound, Blu, relaxing with family and friends, journaling, and listening to old music. She values meaningful moments, good conversations, and opportunities to keep learning about the people around her.

Mary, originally from Florida, has lived and worked around the world, bringing a global perspective to everything she does. She earned her bachelor’s degree in English from the University of South Florida in 2013, followed by a master’s degree in linguistics from the University of Amsterdam in 2014.
With a strong background in program coordination, project management and teaching, Mary plays a key role in elevating planning and communication standards across the firm. She drives operational excellence by leading internal initiatives focused on streamlining processes, automating workflows and improving overall efficiency. Her strategic approach helps enhance the firm’s daily operations and long-term goals. Outside of work, Mary enjoys exploring new destinations, diving into a good book, experimenting in the kitchen and spending quality time with friends.
